At any given time we may may anywhere from 5 to 20 horses. Some horses are in the recovery and rehabilitation period which means they are available for Sponsorship until ready for retraining. Those that are in retraining are available for Adoption. And some of our horses due to age or medical condition have extensive long term medical needs that prevent them from being suitable for adoption so we will remain their "Forever Home", meaning they will spend the remainder of their lives here with us and are available for Sponsorship only.
Sponsoring a Horse
Each horse has a unique story. Some have very specific needs. In order to aid in the cost of their feeding, farrier and medical expenses we invite you to sponsor one of our special horses. Any horse that receives sponsorship receives 100% of your sponsorship donation for their specific care. You are invited to come visit your sponsored horse. If you have horse experience you are invited to groom them, hand graze them and feed them treats if you like. If your horse experience is limited you are welcome to just admire them through the fence and spend a few hours relaxing on our farm.

Mooney
Mooney is a 15.2h Appaloosa gelding. He is 14 years old, dead quiet all round great guy!! Anyone can ride and handle!! Impeccable ground manners!! Such a love bug!! He has been ridden by young and old and never ridden before riders!! He has been on trails on farm and off and doesn't bat an eye at anything!! BUT he has Navicular and wears special shoes called "flip flops" and is only available to a walk/sometimes trot with rider under 175lbs. He is an easy keeper as he is not allowed grain in his diet but also requires limited grass so as to avoid secondary laminitis. He is on supplements to support his dietary needs and condition.
This very special guy is available for adoption with a special contract that details his needs and requirements. Adoption Fee $500
Never
Never is a 17.2h TB gelding. He is 11 yrs old. He has a remarkable racing career earning a lot of money for his owners and trainers but not without injuries. He had knee surgery in 2012 and it was advised he be retired from racing...unfortunately because of his earnings they continued to race him until 2015. He is sound and his old injuries are stable but in order to remain that way he will need to go to a NON JUMPING HOME. He has been ridden in the ring, worked in round pen, and trail ridden on and off the farm. He does require front shoes. He is big boy with a big stride and requires an experienced rider. He would make the perfect pleasure or dressage horse!! Adoption Fee $800
